three bike on BSB?

Bimota Alstare Junior are looking into the possibility of fielding a three bike team in the MCE British Superbike series next year. The team, headed by manager Benjamin Batta would like to run two Superbikes, including current rider Christophe Ponsson and maybe British rider Christian Iddon.
The team would also like to run a bike in the Motorpoint British Supersport class. It has been wildly reported that the ‘big’ team in World Superbikes have not met homologation rules and will not contend the rest of the season, leaving riders Christian Iddon and Ayrton Badovini without a ride.
The Junior outfit would like Iddon to take part in some wildcard rides, starting at the next BSB round at Assen, so it is a case of watch this space for the time being. But one thing that  is for certain is that the team, with young French rider Christophe Ponsson, will complete all the remaining BSB rounds.
“I am really happy to stay here for the rest of the season, and the next two tracks are easier for us. At the beginning of the season it was not easy for us as we needed to learn all the tracks. We have also extra information on the bike from the bigger Alstare team in World Superbikes too,” said Batta, speaking to bikesportnews.com this evening.
“We would like to be here next season, with two bikes – maybe three. We are in discussions maybe with the Supersport and if we have the budgets we could be here with an English rider, and Christophe Ponsson.
“Iddon - we would like to come here as a wildcard rider for the rest of the season in BSB, but we will have to see. The fact that we could have a rider like Iddon, and the mechanics from the World Superbike team would be a big advantage for us, and it would be good for Chris [Ponsson] to learn from another rider too.”
